The Return Of The King If you told me earlier this year that the day after Cyberpunk 2077 came out I'd be thinking more about Mass Effect rather than Johnny Silverhand et al. Honestly, I was more than happy with the announcement of the Mass Effect legendary edition an excuse to play through Mass Effect again is enough for me. So, when I found out that not only was a brand new Mass Effect game announced at the game awards last week, but it was revealed to continue the story from Mass Effect 3 (or at least it will in some form, but we'll get to that later) I lost my absolute shit. A million questions immediately flooded my mind, did Shephard survive? How much time has passed? Which ending is canon? Did Garrus finish his calibrations? So the New Consoles are finally here. Whether you're a die hard Xbox or PlayStation fan, it's always an exciting occasion when the new hardware launches. To me, it feels like a real occasion, similar to when a huge game launches, but on a larger scale. It's exciting to see that both consoles have been so well received (for the record, I don't have a favourite, I play both) and I look forward to being able to get my hands on both of them, although I have no intention of paying an extortionate price, nor do I intend to have to fight someone to secure a console, so I'll be waiting for the time being.
